Avon Smooth Minerals Fall 2009 Collection

8 September 2009 94 views No Comment

Sensitive skin can now rejoice over the new Avon Smooth Minerals line that debuts this fall. The buildable collection aims to deliver a smooth texture to skin and deeply pigmented color.

The Smooth Minerals Lipstick has me hooked already, especially the shade called Crystal Coral (shown here). The lipstick is antioxidant rich and vitamin infused and the color does last a decent amount of time (at least 1-2 hours). The Mineral Glow Pearls add brightness and the lipstick is extremely moisturizing because of the shea and cocoa butter fixins’ inside.

Apologies for my “out of focus” Crystal Coral swatch, but you get the idea!

Avon’s new Smooth Minerals Eyeliner ($6) is actually really pigmented and long lasting, free of talc and fragrances. The collection has four colors: Earth (a nice mocha brown); Indigo; Iris and Onyx.

The Smooth Minerals Foundation ($11) also contains the Mineral Glow Pearls to bring out skin’s vibrancy; the Blush ($10) goes on skin with a rich, deep pigment (so only a sheer veil is enough for a rosy glow); and the Eyeshadows ($9) are silky smooth and sheer but they stay on your lids for hours and will not ebb.

The collection hits Avon representatives’ virtual counters in August. www.avon.com
