Andy and Debb Fall 2010 Backstage Beauty

The beauty look for the Andy and Debb Fall 2010 Fashion Week show was sleek, straight hair…almost a “young schoolgirl” full of innocence. The face showed a flawless skin, with dark eyeliner and a smidgen of lip color. It was created by using a liner in the center of the lips and using a technique that smudges the lip liner all over the lips. This creates a good definition without overstaining the lip.

The makeup was very clean, and very urban chic and classy, but it’s quite easy to recreate at home. The products used included the Givenchy Mister Light Corrective pen, with lots of mascara. Sara Biria for Sephora PRO Beauty  stayed away from the powdered matte finish for the face but added a touch of dewiness. She used the soft palette pencil # 3 by Givenchy for the lips and a natural lip balm. For the eyes she used a matte shadow, and DiorShow Mascara to extend the lashes.

The hair, in my opinion was completely flawless, with a lovely shine and a sleek straightness. The artist, David Cruz for Phyto haircare, said “it’s a very simple sleek look. When I first met with Andy and Debb, they said they wanted a simple blowout, but then it evolved to a sleek almost schoolgirl look.” He used the Phyto Volume Spray and a little Professional Glossing cream, and a touch of leave- in conditioner for the strands that needed more hydration.
