A Bronzing Boon
Every summer we offer up our winter-white legs to “new and improved” self-tanning lotions, only to be sucker-punched by orange blotches that wouldn’t look out of place on a giraffe. Frankly, we’re tired of products that promise us the moon and end up giving us a chunk of an asteroid.
So we are thrilled to find a fabulous faux fix for our solar-shy extremities called Tarte Glam Gams Leg Bronzing Stick.
This push-up natural gardenia-scented stick is the real deal, giving legs a glowing, toned and taut appearance. The easy-to-apply bronzer is loaded with tarte’s 5 super-fruit complex (acai, goji berry, pomegranate, acerola and maracuja) to protect, restore and refine the skin. It’s also preservative-, paraben-, phthalate-, sulfate-, propylene glycol-, and mineral oil-free.
Whew. Bottom line? Your gams will be pencil skirt-ready.
If you’re new to Tarte, make this your introduction to the hip cosmetics line. Created by entrepeneur Maureen Kelly in 1999, the brand is marketed as “health couture,” with cheeky, fun and good-for -your-skin formulations. It’s a sure bet Glam Gams will join Tarte Cheek Stain, lip exfoliator FRxtion, and 24/7 Lip Sheers as cult favorites.
We feel good knowing that part of every $30 Glam Gams purchase will help preserve the Amazon Rainforest through forest conservation, improved living conditions, and educational opportunities for communities in Brazil. Other shoppers must feel the same way because Glam Gams is temporarily out of stock. Look for it later this month in-store or online at Sephora.
