Review, Before/After Photos: John Freida Frizz-Ease Sheer Solution Fights Frizz

The mere mention of John Frieda’s name brings a smile to my face. I grew up with John Frieda products and have respected him as the god of getting rid of frizz for most of my adult life. I remember my first bottle of Frizz-Ease back in high school; it worked wonders then, so I was psyched to see what the product could do for my hair now.

Frizz-Ease Sheer Solution (around $9.99) promises to fight frizz from the outside while hydrating hair from the inside. It does have a warning that it is flammable, so please wait until hair is fully dried before smoking, or being near flame, fire, etc.

The product is packaged in a clear sleek tube and is very easy to use. The directions say shake to activate, dispense 10 drops into palm, rub hands together and smooth through damp hair. It is a very simple, but effective process.

I have to admit, after shaking the product, it really felt like I was activating the frizz-fighting ingredients. The purplish hue color of the liquid seemed to bubble up and activate. I applied it and then moved on to the blow drying. My hair turned out sleek and smooth, and showed no signs of frizz.

I tried the product for two different hairstyles. First, I blow-dried my hair straight and the second time I left it wavy; I think the product eliminated frizz in both of the styles. My hair looked shinier, healthier and I was impressed with the overall results.

I still stand by John Frieda and his products 100%. They are as good now as they were then. I definitely recommend this product.

You can find all John Frieda products conveniently at your local drugstore/drugstore.com.
