I used the flat iron for a little over a week and I was definitely impressed with the results. I washed and conditioned my hair like I normally do; I then left the boost product in my hair for 4 minutes and rinsed; I towel-dried my hair and sprayed in the Transform Spray; I combed it in and evenly distributed it throughout my hair; I then blow-dried it until it was about 90% dry. In the past, I was concerned with getting my hair perfectly straight, but now, I just dried it not caring about the style.

I turned on the flat iron and waited for the little window that says ‘wait to beep’ to signal that the flat iron is ready for use. Then I took a small section of my hair and ran the iron through it three times at which time the iron beeps to signify your optimal styling temperature. Mine varied from day to day, but the end result was always the same. My hair turned out very straight, looked great, and I got more compliments on my hair then I had in years.

I have wavy hair…but not in a “ooh your so lucky” kinda way but more in a “the waves start in the middle of my head like a cowlick” kinda way and unless i flat iron it, its all crazy. As a professional dancer/performer, prepping for a show is just as important as the show itself. It is essential to have the proper tools to get my hair/makeup done as efficienty as possible, with minimal amounts of damage. This would be perfection for me.. First I have thick hair and its wavy not oo pretty wavy from start to finish but straight down to my ears then wavy it dosent look right without alot of work.. I damanged it through the years from everything from dying to every color from lighter blonde to hot pink to sun-in to being 13 and not realizing a relaxer is not made for my hair lol it was literally falling out.. Now i’m 28 and a mom of two so my hair is craving TLC.. Wow, I am really impressed with this hair ironing system. My hair is very long, reaches just below my butt. Because it’s so long, I have to be so careful about using heated products because I don’t want to cause damage. As such, my hair really doesn’t look as great as it could if I had the proper equipment to use on my hair, something that wouldn’t get so hot that I could actually hear my hair sizzle. This iron not only made your hair look so beautifully styled, but it took a lot less time and the iron prevented your hair from getting damaged. I would love the chance to use one of these machines so I could have straight , styled hair, like your after picture, everyday.

I have been using the John Frieda Frizz-Ease straightener for about two years now, but my frizz is full force! Now that the finish on the plates is stripping, my hair gets very damaged from my straightener, and I’m left with many flyaways and split ends. I straighten at 380, but I’m curious to know what my actual temperature should be. I’m really ready for my hair to not be frizzy and a mess anymore!!

Living in Florida my hair is constantly subjected to high humidity and when I use the higher heat on my current straightener my hair ends up looking like I stuck my finger in a light socket by midday. And I’m sure that the higher heat on my straightener is probably damaging my hair.

This flat iron would really help me because I have frizzy hair which is a big problem, especially if I’m either a) running late for school or b) going to a special function which requires me to look nice. I don’t like to flat iron or curl my hair because of how much it damages my hair so hairstyles are pretty hard to do with my wavy frizzy hair. I think having this cool straightner I would be able to straighten it and not worry about further damage.
Even my hairdresser advised me against using a hot flat iron. This is a great alternative!
I think this flat iron looks awesome! I have very fine curly hair, and I don’t straighten it very often because I’m concerned about damaging it…This would definitely be a great product for someone with fine hair!
I need something that will straighten my hair without all the damage of heat.

Since I’m totally opposed to the ‘fingers stuck in a lightsocket’ look that would occur if I air dryed my hair, and I flat iron every day, I’d love a product that give me an idea on the RIGHT heat setting for my day! I’m curious if I’ll get the same results, and the setting will vary from day to day? Did you find that the extra pass throughs you have to give it for it to sense your setting dried out that piece of hair you used as the tester?
My hair is very thick and stubborn so I need a good flat iron that would straighten my hair quickly, heats up quick, and that will hold all day,(my hair tends to frizz up by the end of the day or crease)
My hair gets frizzy so I need to flat iron it but I hate the damage it leaves to my hair.
I would love to try this! I have long hair so I feel like I have to use a regular flat iron longer which causes more heat damage. If this is lower, it will cause less heat damage to my hair!
I straighten my hair everyday otherwise it is frizzy.
