Take a walk on the wild side with Féria’s new Wild Ombré, the first at-home coloring system designed to create one of the hottest, most sought-after hair color trends: the Ombré effect.

Ombré haircolor is the new way to add light and contrast to your hair by lightening only the lengths and ends, creating a gradated dark to light effect. This is the first time the Ombré look will be achievable through at-home coloring. Best of all, results can be achieved in just 25 – 45 minutes, depending upon preferred intensity.

L’Oréal Paris’ innovation employs a three-part lightening system plus patented Expert Brush that work together to achieve this modern new take on highlights. This brush-on technique allows women to easily create ombré effects ranging from subtle and sexy to bold and edgy. The system contains a Lightening Powder, a Lightening Crème and a Crème Developer to provide an enhanced lightening experience for the perfect Ombré look.

Price: $12.99, Available in three shades at www.lorealparis.com and chain drug, food and mass market retailers beginning in January 2013.

I don’t like to do anything drastic to my hair myself. It is a great way to save money and have your hair looking great but I’m going to wait and see video reviews on how this product looks and thoughts of it before I buy and try it myself. Great review

I just spent $75.00 on a haircut that I requested some “drama” and for people to notice that I had something done to my hair. At this point, $75.00 later, I feel like an old woman with helet head! Loreal’s Ombre Effect highlighting is hwat I refer to as “drama” and if its that easy to do at home, I deserve to start the new year out with a hot, new look like this. I love # 3 since my hair is darker!!

What a clever idea. My hair is too short for the ombre look, but I would definitely try it if my hair were longer

I’m 44 w/ 3 kids in their 20′s,youngest son deploys soon and as I’m disabled (thanks to my last job…and I miss it) my daughter uses car 24/7 (hers was totalled while in SC for bootcamp and when she went to replace she got ripped off because it was a fraudulent deal. Anyway, my curly hair has gone from blonde to dk brown and is almost at my waist, want to try the product, but my daughter brought up a good point and I need an answer from someone who works at LOREAL. Will it color over the bottom of my hair that still has dye in it? It seems every time I pick up a color to match my virgin hair it fades back to blonde tones, heck I never needed highlights because my hair has never been one shade…So answer is yes I’d love to try it ,but only if it will go over the color already there. And yes I have strands 2ft long that are white and that is not the reason I ever colored my hair, its always to give myself a little kick because at work I either wore sweats or a uniform, and I always feel great because I know what I hv on underneath! Whether stuck at home or while working,it made me feel sexy in a job that didn’t want women to look like women!!! And that’s what counts the most for me….

ok i have a question more than a comment … i have dark hair already but i have some grey hairs on top but i want the ombre look so i dont know if i should do a root touch up and the bottom ombre or buy a full color and just do the top before i ombre the bottom .. any suggestions?

I would love to try this but it would mean it would last only as long as my initial hair dye would… which is dark …… I have to dye the grey away… and then it would be a real trick to redo the ends without
destroying the hair… love the look though…
