Avon’s new Advanced Techniques Professional Hair Care
Avon’s new Advanced Techniques Professional Hair Care has spawned a new line of volume products, just in time for spring and summer. The Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner ($4 each at avon.com) build volume with creatine and amino peptides.
Their Volumizing Mousse ($3.99) and Flexible Hold Hair Spray ($3) held their own throughout the day with only a teeny bit of crunchiness – it was nothing a good brushing couldn’t cure
The Volumizing Instant Recharge Treatment ($8.99 for 4) cheerfully steals the spotlight in this collection. This weekly treatment has the highest concentration of volumizing polymers out of all the Advanced Techniques products, and it shows. After one treatment, my hair air-dried beautifully because the polymers in this capsule individually coated each strand. That alone makes it worth its weight in gold, but Avon’s pricing makes this find even better.
