Ever since Allure magazine broke the story on counterfeit fragrances, shopping for discount fragrances has given me the heebie jeebies. After all, you want the discount but also don’t want to spend money on faux.

My winter favorite is and has been for almost a decade…Paloma Picasso (Black bottle). My “harken back to ol’skool” winter pure perfume oil from my childhood, which the LADIES in my life wore is WEIL’s Secret of Venus (original brown box). Every Christmas Midnight Mass – that is what I wear. A dab behind each knee is all it takes.

My favorite right now is Lola (Marc Jacobs). This is my new fragrance and it is simply GORGEOUS! A very rich floral scent. With an enormous, beautiful, colorful, flower as it’s stopper, this will be a decorative item long after the perfume is gone.
