I LOVE floral perfumes so this would be wonderful! Thank you for offering this giveaway!

My plans for Valentine’s Day are pretty simple this year. My fiance and I have decided not to go out, but plan a romantic day at home. We’re agreed on him making me breakfast in bed and me making him a fancy dinner in the evening! Since he’s working in the afternoon, we’re meant to just spend the night watching movies together but I have the feeling he’s planned a surprise behind my back (which is nothing new)! I always look forward to Valentine’s Day and this year is no exception :)

The past year has been filled with grief and remorse. I lost my grandmother and than my uncle. I have a beautiful one year old daughter, and my husband has been back-home in Pakistan for about a year now. We have not seen each other for a year but our love grows each day. He isn’t with me because our sponsorship hasn’t gone through yet. I am married yet living the life of a single mother. This year, I expect him to be here for Valentines day. We will go sightseeing and spending every moment with each other and our daughter. I can really use this fragrance to envelope my life in beautiful scents so that my coming years with my husband and my Valentines day won’t be a lonesome one if he doesn’t arrive.

Our tight budget doesn’t really allow for a lot of frivolous stuff on Valentine’s Day. My husband has to work all day, and I’ll be home with the kids. Hopefully, we will be able to have a nice family dinner and play a game or two before bedtime. Love from my family is the most important thing!! :)

  • Elizabeth B. said:

Thanks for doing the “Love by Chloe” sample perfume. I haven’t heard of this brand until now and would like to try a sample of it, if possible. The triple: top, mid, and base of the perfume sounds wonderful, and the bottle looks really cool, too. What would I be doing on Valentine’s Day? Well, going off on Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” theme song, I would go to classes, do homework, and hang-out with my other single ladies on Valentine’s Day.

Seeing as how I have no significant other, and I’m busy raising 2 special needs grandsons, I have no plans for Valentines day. UNTILL I saw this wonderful giveaway that is. Now I have PLANS. I am going to arrange for my boys to fix me dinner and pick us a movie to go to. Then on that evening, I plan to use my bath salt I received for Christmas and haven’t gotten to use yet. I’l light some candles, put on some relaxing music and slip into a very warm bath and simply soak untill the water runs cold while a babysitter does my usual responsibilities. But most of all, I WILL NOT FEEL GUILTY. Just for ME!

  • Diane K. said:

Since I’m alone, I think I’ll use the day to pamper myself, splurge for a change, getting dressed up, having my hair done, maybe getting a massage or facial and splurging by eating a food I rarely eat, EDY’s Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream. If I look fabulous, I feel fabulous.

We never make any special plans for Valentine’s Day. My husband will probably stop and buy me a bouquet from a corner vendor on his way home from work and then we will go out to our favorite Mexican restaurant for dinner and margaritas. My husband, it turns out, isn’t one to give candy, lingerie, or romantic fragrances like this Chloe perfume – so I will either have to be the lucky winner or splurge and buy it for myself!

Thank you … and Happy Valentine’s Day!

Valentine’s Day? Everyday is my Valentine to me because I love me. Therefore, I will be spending the day with people who feel the same way about me, my son, family and friends. Therefore it will be a day of me receiving lots love while I give the same.

My husband has cystic fibrosis and he just got admitted to the hospital yesterday. He has to stay long periods of time when he gets sick, so unfortunately we are spending it in the hospital. But, I plan on either going out, or going home to get/make dinner for him. Dressing up nice and watching a movie in his bed with him while we eat. I’m not asking for sympathy or anything, this is just the honest truth. If he had not been in the hospital we were going to do something on our own at home anyway. Happy V-day everyone!

My Valentine’s plan are to love on myself completely. I broke off my relationship this past Summer and have not looked back. The relationship became so toxic that I was becoming depressed. I have three beautiful girls and that is where my daily inspiration comes from. The way my girls, granddaughter and new grandson love me surpasses any love I have ever had. So we will all have dinner together and exchange chocolates and continue loving on each to the max each and everyday.

I’m attending a Valentine’s Day charity event called “All Fur Love” that will help raise money for an animal rescue group called “All Critters Rescue”. 100% of the proceeds will help care for homeless and abused animals rescued by All Critters Rescue. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my Valentine’s Day – I LOVE animals!

Valentine’s Day is a special day to stop and enjoy your loved ones. We don’t have plans per se, but we still celebrate it. I take a little more time getting ready, less eyeshadow more perfume. I make sure the couch is comfortable for his morning paper then I make breakfast. Eggs, steak, milk, juice and fruit. He dozes into the shower and I lay out plates. I kiss him good morning. He finishes everything! I clean up and ask him what he wants to do on his first day off in three weeks. If it’s nice we go outside and take Joe for an afternoon stroll through Corporate Woods Park. Later we eat dinner at ABC Cafe. The food and atmosphere remind me of home. He compliments my makeup and I smile. I compliment his hair which never sits the way he likes it but I can see he spent a little more patience with it this morning. He reminds me to take my medicine and pours me more chrystanteum tea. Tired, we travel home to our mini dachshund. He jumps like a bunny when we reunite. He would follow me like Old Yeller if I let him. We cuddle and watch nonesensical movies. I say Happy Valentine’s to my honey bunnies and receive quizzical stares?! They both forgot! I pout. “Haha, Silly Laopo, Happy Valuntine’s Day!” my husband chuckles as he pulls a little package out of his pocket. It is a little heart charm, “This is my heart,” he explains. “Laogong!” I get up and return with his gift: two initial charms on a leather chord, “I’ll never leave you. See my name, LC, so you’ll never be alone again.” Joe licks us both.

It is with trinkets and words and time, that we are reminded of why we work so hard everyday: for the ones we love. Spend Valentine’s Day in love….
