GIVEAWAY, How To Prevent Getting The Flu: 3 Simple Steps To Beating A Cold, Flu With Beauty Products
As you may already know, flu season is in full swing. According to Dr. Michael Roizen, YouBeauty.com Wellness expert, “symptoms range from sniffles and chills to a high fever that keeps you home from work all week, or worse—flu lands 200,000 people in the hospital each year and kills more than 30 thousand in this country alone.”
As businesses reopen and we all head back to work after the holidays, our immune system needs all the help it can get to keep it fully functioning and free from germs and viruses. Here are some quick tricks that will help you to avoid the dreaded flu and keep you feeling healthy & happy all season long!
Washing your hands is probably the single most important thing you can do to avoid catching the flu. Be sure to constantly wash your hands to rid them of the germs that may cause you to get sick. Wash them as often as you can!
Suggested Product: Bath & Body Works Antibacterial Deep Foaming Hand Soap ($5.50 each)
Bath & Body Works Anti-Bacterial Hand Soap is the perfect way to refresh your hands and kill off powerful germs – plus, the wide variety of fragrances will leave your hands smelling delicious all day long.
2. Carry an Antibacterial PocketBac in your Bag!
Obviously, when you’re out and about, you’re going to be touching lots of things that others have touched before you. It’s smart to keep an antibacterial sanitizer in your bag so that you can fight germs as often as you want. Just one small squirt on your hands will kill over 99.9% of germs.
Suggested Product: Bath & Body Works Anti-Bacterial PocketBac Sanitizing Hand Gel ($1.50 each)
Spread love, not germs. This pocket-sized bottle contains natural ingredients and powerful germ killers that, wherever you go, get hands clean and lightly scented.
Showing flu-like symptoms? Don’t wait! Visit your doctor immediately and start taking medicine as soon as possible. If caught in the early stages, you may be able to avoid the flu before it fully strikes.
Suggested Product: Boiron Oscillococcinum Flu Remedy ($13.95)
For temporary relief of symptoms of flu such as fever, chills, body aches and pains.
Be sure to remember these simple tips and you will surely be on track and flu-free!

We are rabid handwashers in all season’s, but more so in flu season. Always have antibacterial gel in our bags and we just aren’t going anywhere unneccessary right now. Momma is 85 and does not need the flu at all. Thanks 4 the good info.
We eat right, all the flu fighter foods & drink plenty of water & get enough rest.
The washing of the hands is wonderful. Doing that protects alot. Always take vitamins that could help prevent a cold.
What I do is exercise and eat healthy. And I have a good immune system. Also when im in a public restroom after washing my hands I grab the napkins and grab the door handle with that
We wash our hands before everything and keep hand sanitizer everywhere. Got to keep a clean bill of health
I got the flu shot, eat an orange every day and take a multi vitamin. Have soup for dinner. Exercise and try to avoid people who are sick! Oh and no hand shakes either!
I ward off the flu by washing my hands and cleaning my phone at work beause you never know who has used it while you were gone. Also after going to the bathroom and washing my hands under hot water with soap I use the hand towel after drying my hands to open the door.

We wash our hands frequently, and we also make sure the kids know that they should not share food and drinks with others at school or elsewhere (like family get-togethers). We make sure we get plenty of rest, and we also eat a balanced diet. So far, we have been very lucky, and we hope that luck continues! Thank you so much for the giveaway!!
So far I’ve been lucky – and healthy; however, flu season won’t end for quite awhile

All three of my kids care a small travel size hand sanitizer in their backpacks to clean their hands with. We carry one in our vehicle. I also carry a small travel size bottle in my purse.

So far I haven’t’ gotten the flu or a cold. I wash my hands frequently throughout the day. And eat foods with antioxidants.
I got a flu shot in August, as my first step of prevention of the
flu. I now wash my hands a lot; especially, after coming home from
shopping and handling a shopping cart. I do my best to sanitize
the telephone, doorknobs, etc. Also, I wash the pillow slips from each
bed more than usual.
Many thanks, Cindi
So far, so good, so what!? What? Yes, I’ve not gotten the GD flu all this time, got a tequila, I mean a FLU shot, but you never know. No guarantees. Better have these and not need ‘em than need ‘em and not have ‘em!

Recovering from a nasty flu now, what a helpful giveaway!
I have gotten my flu shot. I wash my hands frequently, try not to touch my face while I’m at work, eat healthy, and make sure I get enough sleep. I also carry hand sanitizer as I work with children who sometimes forget to cover their mouth or turn away when sneezing.
We start with a flu shot, eat healthy, dress appropriately, wash those hands and do not seek out crowds. It’s time to be more responsible about not putting ourselves in crowds when you don’t feel well.
