Dove Ultimate Visibly Smooth: A Deodorant That Minimizes Appearance of Hair Growth!
Ah, Dove. They never stop trying to make our underarms prettier.
Their latest effort to this effect takes the form of Dove Ultimate Visibly Smooth Anti-Perspirant ($3.49 at drugstores and at www.dove.com this May) With the new Pro-Epil complex, they promise to minimize the appearance of underarm hair after a few weeks of use.
The Pro-Epil Complex is a mixture of ingredients that contains the famous Dove 1/4 Translucent MoisturizersTM and sunflower oil. Within weeks of regular use, Dove promises that the Pro-Epil Complex makes underarm hair feel softer, finer and easier to remove. While it doesn’t eliminate hair growth, the deodorant definitely made my hair softer and finer than a kabuki brush.
I do know that I love the scent – I am currently using their Wild Rose variety – it is a great, unfussy rose that I really cannot get enough of. My verdict: if you must wear deodorant anyway, why not this?

Boy, I have been looking for a ap/deodorant since my Secret was making me itchy – this would be just the thing, as I know Dove’s are gentle.
Dove is the only brand of anti-perspirant that I use.
It keeps my armpits soft and I love the scents!

I’ve used Dove products before. I’ve always gotten a great response to them. I would be very interested in using this deodrant. Would be fantastic if it really did reduce hair growth. I would like to try it. I also love the scent of roses. I have makeup remover clothes that are rose scented. I love the fragrance.

I have pretty dark hair all over my body and I have always been so embarassed about it all. I shave and wax and bleach and it takes up a lot of time, but this sounds like such a wonderful and quick way to slowly get rid of armpit hair. I would definitely looove to try this!

only works well but the scents aren’t loud,
overbearing and too perfumey! In my opinion,
other brands just stink!!

I’ve used Dove deodorants ever since the first came out! I haven’t seen this one yet but would love to try it. The wild rose scent is an idea that makes me simply swoon! Also, I have a hormone imbalance that causes my body hair to grow in quite heavily, so maybe this would help to lessen that problem. Thank you so much for offering it!

I bought this a couple months ago and it doesn’t work. What a scam. It didn’t make my underarms softer and the hair smoother and less visable at all.
don’t buy this. i got a horrible skin rash and now i can’t do pretty much anything. this is one of the most dangerous products on the market. please research it first before you decide to purchase it. it works by closing out your pores so the hair can’t get through which is not very healthy thing to do..be careful!!!!
