GIVEAWAY: Makeup Review, Before/After Photos: Too Faced Better Than Best False Lashes Nylon Eye Lash Extension System

SEE FREE SAMPLE GIVEAWAY BELOW:
Am I wearing falsies, you ask?! No way! — especially when I am writing a mascara review. That would be dishonest!

Introducing Too Faced Better Than False Lashes Nylon Lash Extension System ($35.00) with Flexistretch (TM) nylon fibers available at Sephora. I have tried a few other brands that have added nylon fibers, yet this was a smooth and easy process — and the products didn’t poke me in the eye or lay a funny way like some others have. I loved the application instructions on the …

Breaking Beauty News: High School Guidance Counselor/Teacher Fired For Modeling Photos – Tiffany Webb

Hot for teacher! Do you ever think that certain photos you take/took could come back to haunt and you, and possibly jeopardize your career? That’s exactly what happened to a Manhattan school guidance counselor. The NYPost reported yesterday that Tiffany Webb, who worked at the Murry Bergtraum High School for Business Careers, was fired after twelve years from the Department of Education (DOE). Photos of Webb (at the ages of 18-20) surfaced on the internet, specifically on “sleazy” sites such as Mo Girls Entertainment and Showgirlz Exclusive, where Webb is …

Get The Makeup Look Of Suzy Bishop Of Moonrise Kingdom Movie

Wes Anderson‘s most recent film, Moonrise Kingdom, has gotten major press since debuting as the opening film at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. Most of us remember his most famous film The Royal Tenenbaums back in 2001, with Gwyneth Paltrow playing a kooky character — dressed in a fur coat and mod 60′s black eyeliner. Wes has continued onto the same path with bold makeup statements that are consistently portrayed throughout his new film. Quite creative and catchy, he has also created a very youthful and vibrant, but very subtle, …

How much would you spend on your facial moisturizer alone? How about $13,000? We’ve covered some pretty expensive creams in the past here on BeautyStat, but when we read that the Japanese brand Clé de Peau Beauté will be releasing a $13,000 cream, we were floored!
Yahoo news found out that the La Crème will be released this fall on September 21 in Tokyo to mark the Shiseido company’s 30th anniversary. At that price, only a coveted three jars will be sold to those seeking the fountain of youth… in …

(Review & Swatches) Make Up For Ever Launches Colorless Anti-Feathering Lip Pencil: Lip Line Perfector

For those of us who hate bleeding, feathering and everything else that accompanies the lip line area, Make Up For Ever has an antidote.
The Colorless Anti Feathering Lip Pencil is a Lip Line Perfector: you draw an invisible contour around your lips (using the same technique as though you would use using a regular lip liner) but because of its properties and the ingredients (beeswax, ceramide, elastomer of silicone, and high molecular hyaluronic salt), the lipstick does not bleed through the lip contour and get messy.

Does it work? Well, yes …

How To Get the Beauty Look: The Royal Wedding’s Kate Middleton Makeup & Hair

Dissecting the Duchess of Cambridge’s looks is not too hard, especially when you know that she did everything herself.
To us, her brows were a definite standout. They weren’t chicken feathers, and weren’t over plucked, but beautiful, thick and arched. You can definitely learn a thing or two from her brows.

As to be expected, the princess had a ward of people for her pre-wedding makeup rituals; her hair, we hear, was done by James Pryce and Richard Ward of London’s Richard Ward salon (they gave her cascading curls that we had …

(Review & Before/After Photos): L’Oreal Eversleek Intense Smoothing and Reparative Haircare Line

L’Oreal surfaced a few years ago with the first drugstore sulfate-free set of shampoos and conditioner to cater not only to people of the dyed-hair persuasion, but has recently expanded the line to include volumizing and fortifying options.

Now we can add frizz control to the list of sulfate-free products with the advent of their new EverSleek line that comes in two versions: the Reparative and the Intense Smoothing lines.  Besides lacking sulfates, silicone also pulls a no-show, to keep from weighing hair down with frizz molecules.  I’d almost rather my …

Fashion Week 2011 Fall/Winter Beauty Trends: United Bamboo

United Bamboo: Makeup by Dick Page for Shiseido

Makeup at United Bamboo was fresh-faced with an added edge. Dick Page created a look being inspired by the clothing on the models. There was a preppy vibe to the clothing and to add a little drama, took it up a notch; focusing on the eyes. Overall the face was kept clean, adding Shiseido’s Perfect Refining Foundation only to areas that needed it. A sparkle was added around the eyes with the new Shimmering Cream Eye Color …
