No blizzard can keep New York Fashion Week from happening! BeautyStat braved the arctic chill to report on some of the bright (and unexpected) Fall/Winter ’13 makeup trends!
Revlon and NARS Cosmetics were onset to provide pops of color for a 60′s mod effect, extreme eyeliner, muted grey/glitter eyes and hooded lids for designers such as Altuzarra, Alexander Wang, Lisa Perry, Thakoon and Rag & Bone. NARS has been pretty busy so early on in the game this NY Fashion Week. Not only did NARS kick-off one of the first shows for Tanya Taylor’s Spring ’13 Collection, but was able to showcase its own Creatures of the Wind (COTW) show lead by James Boehmer, as well as the unique minimal look they created for the Alexander Wang.
